1. Open up Outlook
\n2. Click the ‘File’ tab (top left)
\n3. Click ‘Account Settings’
\n4. Highlight your email address (centre screen) and click the ‘Change’ icon
\n5. Where it says ‘Server Information’ update the following:<\/p>\n
Account Type: POP3
\nIncoming Mail Server: pop3.yourdomain.co.uk
\nOutgoing Mail Server: smtp.yourdomain.co.uk<\/p>\n
Logon Information<\/p>\n
Username: xxx@yourdomain.co.uk
\npassword: xxxxxx<\/p>\n
Make sure the Remember password box is ticked.<\/p>\n
6. To the right, click the ‘More Settings’ tab and ‘Outgoing Server’ tab.
\nThe authentication box needs to be ticked and the next option ‘Use same settings as incoming mail server’<\/p>\n
7. Now click the ‘Advanced’ tab – This screen shows the server port numbers. Change where required:<\/p>\n
Incoming Mail Server (pop3): 110<\/p>\n
Leave the box underneath UNCHECKED<\/p>\n
Outgoing Server (smtp): 25025<\/p>\n
You should not need to amend anything else so click OK. This will bring you back to the Email settings screen.<\/p>\n
8. You can choose the ‘Test Account Settings’ button if you wish and the system will send and receive to check everything is operational.<\/p>\n
9. Finish. Your Outlook is now configured.<\/p>\n
